José Obscura, born Jocelyn Ramos, visual and plastic artist with a background in graphic design and specialization in stop motion production and direction.
My professional journey began in the field of advertising in Mexico City, where I collaborated with international brands and directed animation productions. I have supplemented my education with courses in design, sculpture, and photography, as well as corporality practices. Over the past 5 years, I have worked independently as a brand development specialist and art director, serving clients around the globe. Parallel to this, I direct "La Maquila Erótica", a project where I merge sculpture, animation, design, and performance, while also promoting dynamics of social benefit.
