La Maquila Erótica
An art and community proposal aimed at transforming our relationship with sexuality.
The purpose is to address this topic in a natural way, without taboos or guilt, recognizing sexuality as an intrinsic and fortunate part of our human experience. Through didactic tools, we merge the anatomical, social, and emotional aspects, creating a space for healthy dialogue and conscious artistic exploration.

Our toys provide sensory and mental stimulation, promoting sexual curiosity from a perspective of wonder, innocence, and appreciation. Additionally, they serve as educational and recreational materials, opening up a space for discussion and community.

Gallery HGZ presents Acid Candy by José Obscura, a vibrant collection of suggestive images; a world of colors and textures that encourages the normalization of figures that have been brought into a murky context. It proposes a reclamation of our approach to sexuality through the recognition of shame surrounding the subject, shifting the tone of the conversation towards a more understanding and light perspective.
Each exhibited piece has the power to open doors to reflection and self-discovery. In a world where repression and over-sexualization prevail, this exhibition invites us to approach sexuality with common sense and empathy.
This project was born out of humor, and through its own strength, it evolved into a community. Organically, a group of supportive hands made the birth of La Maquila Erótica possible—an environment of creativity and companionship tasked with keeping this idea alive and, above all, nurturing it. The experience and support I have received from so many people have made it clear to me that it is therapeutic to be able to approach these topics from an open and understanding perspective.
Crafted collectively and artfully using wool, they generate dialogues and foster self-discovery in the realm of sexual expression. These pieces are warm, visually pleasing, and tactile. They not only stimulate the body but also the mind, memories, and sensations. Unlike conventional sex toys and medical demonstrators, our toys stand out for their emotional focus and playful nature.
